Where is Connie’s Bakery & General Store located?

Our flagship store is located in Westchester County, New York. Our address is: 41 South Moger Avenue, Mt. Kisco, NY 10549 (down the alley from Starbucks). You can reach us by phone at: 914-242-2014 or 866-926-6643 or via e-mail at info@connies.org.

Can your bakery items be shipped?

Check the Connie’s Bakery Treats page for our shippable items. Our old-fashioned cookies, specialty cookies and brownies can all be shipped in a variety of tins and decorative packaging. At this time, we are not able to ship pies and other delicate items, but if you are in New York, please stop in to the store to sample our cupcakes, tarts, UFOs and other treats. We guarantee it will be worth the trip!

Where do you ship to?

We ship FedEx Priority, 2 Day and Ground to most addresses in the United States, including in Alaska and Hawaii. However, overnight service is not available to all addresses in every state. In the event that next day service is not available, we will notify you that we will not be able to accept cookie tin orders for those destinations. Food cannot be shipped internationally, but gift baskets can be. Please contact us to discuss shipping options. We cannot ship to PO Boxes or APO addresses.

When and how will my order be shipped and what are the charges for delivery?

We ship most orders within one to two business days.

Shipping prices reflect both the weight and dimension of your package and the speed with which it will be delivered. Since we do not use preservatives in our bakery products, cookie tins ship on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, to arrive within 2 days. Brownies and Biscotti tins ship any week day. Gift baskets can be shipped any day, Monday through Friday, and you have the choice of shipping Priority, 2 Day or Ground.

If your delivery address is within 150 miles of our store, they can go FedEx Ground at a fairly reasonable rate. Addresses outside that geographic area require shipment via FedEx Priority or 2-Day Air at a higher rate. For packages like gift baskets that are not time-sensitive, FedEx Ground will provide your most economical delivery option and will arrive within 1-5 business days. To view your estimated shipping charges, place your items into your shopping cart and proceed to check out. A representative from Connie’s will contact you before shipping your order if the actual FedEx charge exceeds the quoted estimate or if our automated FedEx shipping calculator is unable to provide you with a shipping charge.

Is satisfaction guaranteed?

All of Connie’s bakery products are packed immediately after baking and shipped for overnight delivery. Your satisfaction is guaranteed as long as you have provided us with complete and accurate delivery information, including the phone number of the recipient. We cannot guarantee shipments for which we are given incorrect delivery instructions. We’re pretty sure you’ll love everything you order from Connie’s, but if for some reason you are not completely satisfied, please contact us immediately for a replacement or a complete refund (minus the shipping costs).

What forms of payment do you accept?

For on-line or phone orders, we accept only Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards or debit cards with Visa or Mastercard logos.

Where is my credit card ID number?

You are required by Visa, Mastercard, and American Express to provide your credit card ID number as an added security precaution for online and telephone purchases. See the diagrams below to locate your card ID number. Note: once this transaction is complete, we will not store or save your credit card account number or the card ID number.

Do I have to pay sales tax?

Food items are not taxable. Other gift items will be assessed a tax only if they are being delivered to an address in New York State.

Is food from Connie’s kosher?

Connie’s Bakery & General Store has been certified “Kosher Dairy.” If you would like a copy of the certification faxed to you, please call us at (914) 242-2014 or (866) 926-6643; or send an e-mail request to info@connies.org.

Do any of Connie’s online bakery treats contain nuts?

Connie's Baked Goods are Prepared in a Facility that Handles Nuts. Click on the Online Bakery Treat PHOTO and the ingredient listing will appear in the pop-up window.

Does Connie’s Bakery & General Store cater events or make custom cakes?

We look forward to working with you or your company to serve delicious Connie’s bakery items at your upcoming parties or business events. How long will your products stay fresh?

Our cookies are best eaten within 3-5 days, brownies 7-10 days, and biscotti 60 days.

Do you have gift certificates?

Yes we do. You can pick one up at our store in Mt. Kisco or we can process a gift certificate purchase over the phone.

Do you make gift baskets?

Yes. Some of our most popular items and baskets are highlighted on the Connie’s Gift Baskets page, or we would be happy to help customize a basket specifically for you. Please give us a call at 914-242-2014 or 866-926-6643 to discuss the wide variety of items you might choose from.

Is it safe to order from Connie’s online?

Yes, our server requires 128-bit SSL encryption. which is supported by all modern browsers. You'll see "https:" at the beginning of the URL (Location) during Check Out and Order Submission, and no one will be able to intercept your personal information. Your browser may give you other security feedback (e.g. a "lock" logo and/or yellow URL background) to ensure that you know when you’re in an encrypted session.

We encrypt your credit card information and store it securely only until your transaction has been completed; we do not retain it (or any other personal information) permanently. Of course, if you feel more secure ordering by telephone, please do so; we will protect your personal information and credit card number just as carefully if you do it that way.

What is Connie’s Bakery’s privacy policy?

We do not sell or share any of our customers’ personal data. Your credit card and billing information, shipping information, and the details about what you’ve ordered (including your gift messages) are used only to fulfill your order. Approximately one week after your order has shipped, we automatically delete your details from our computer records; we retain them only long enough to handle any changes or problems.

While shopping (and checking out) online, our server creates one browser session cookie (which is automatically deleted when you close your browser), called "_ZopeId." (You must allow this cookie to be created and returned to our server in order to shop online.) There is no personal information in that cookie; it merely contains a unique number so the server knows which order you’re working on. If someone else were to steal that cookie from you, it would not validate and could not be used to impersonate you or subvert your order.
